Thankful in November

(courtesy of Confessions of a Craft Addict)

I found this link over at Miscellany of Me (and I advise you to check out her mouth-watering peach-mango crisp) to Thankful for 30. I'm going to post one thing I'm thankful for every day in November. My personality has always been a weird, irreconcilable combination of gloom, pessimism, anxiety, and playfulness, cheer, and good humor. So to combat the darker tendencies, I'm going to nurture my hopeful side. I hope others will join in!

Thanks #1: Today is Sarge's birthday, and I'm thankful for him. He is loyal, a good man, morally and ethically strong, brilliant and funny, and a beautiful father to my daughter and husband to me.

That was so easy!

Please join in!

xoxo

Allow me to be the first to wish Sarge a Happy Birthday. May you be showered in family, gifts, good food and beer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARGE!!!

I know your wife is "very" adventurous when it comes to men and life. I'm not, but I'm going to go out on a limb today. Honey, could you use a second wife? I like you! And if you wouldn't mind, could you arrive Christmas day because I'm so tired of regifting myself that damn DVD player. You'd be a breath of fresh air!

Leah, what? Leave me alone. I'm thankful for Novemember. I'm only doing what you suggested. Sarge, what kind of coffee do you drink? Milk and sugar honey? Bagel?

Thanks guys, I'll convey the greetings to dear old Sarge.

Suze, I asked Sarge if he'd like a second wife. I'm not kidding, I did! He thought about it for a moment, and then said "would you mind?" hahaha!!!!! OMG I laughed so hard. Then he asked "where would we all live?" oh, it cracked me up. He really seemed to give it some thought! Well, me, I wouldn't mind pooling the resources a little. There certainly are a lot of chores, aren't there?! Plus, he gives very nice gifts. Well, between you and Sarge, I got a good giggle...

30 is the new twenty. I am much older than that and all I can say is that the 30's where much better than the 20's. But I like the 40's too. But they get strange somewhere in the middle.
