Thankful for My Daughter
On a Dust Taken Road by the Sea
On a dust taken road
on a long plundered day
I will find you here
where the sea gives away
in a dappled dell beside the sea
you and me are there
where the tide gives way
and the seagulls call
in a melodic stray
the ocean is as
clear as you and me.

Very nice poem.
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving
OMG, how wonderful!!!
Do you think that Hedgie would like to give Kylie's limerick contest a try? A limerick is like a poem and I think that she would do well. The is time left.
Happy Thanksgiving.
excellent idea, bri
Oh. My. God! I was so tired last night I think I came back and deleted the wrong comments. Oh Hedgie, I'm sorry. I'll be back once I find the comments I was supposed to delete. Something doesn't make sense here. (Leah, can you help me out? Just get rid of all that crap like you so brilliantly do when you "clean house." Please.)
P.S. Hegie, you write beautifully. This is a fine example of how not to write!
Oh, now I remember. Leah, please go back and remove all that crap. You probably read it, now bury it!!! Thanks honey.
XO
P.S. Happy Day After Thanksgiving. I read your comment on my blog about the Tofurkey. I'll try it. Send me your recipe, I'll make it, then pretend to be a NY Times food critic. And yes, I will give an honest answer despite the fact you and Hedgie are dear friends. Trust me!
