My Life on a Screen

As per Inner Voices, here's a shot of my laptop screen.  It really is my life--the crafts, the woefully neglected dissertation, and of course, now even more neglected,  the man who is second in my heart only to Sgt. Pepper.  If you've been reading here for awhile, then you know I have a weird delusion of reference regarding one Severus Snape.  Yes, it's quite embarrassing, as he doesn't really exist.  Yes, I have an actual crush on a fictional character.  Yes, even if he did exist, he wouldn't really exist, because he's a wizard.

I leave you with an admission of naughtiness: I posted this DURING THE DAY.

sorry to bother you with this silly question but is Hedgehog's name really Hedgehog, or is it a name that you made up so as not to give out personal info. the only reason i ask is because i was reading back to older posts and noticed you used to call her E. let me know if you feel like it.

That's a very clean screen compared to my cluttered screen.

It is a very clean screen indeed.

Who knew a midday post could just be so wrong but feel so right?

Yes, Hedgehog is a stage name. I got tired of typing "E." for some reason, and my daughter is just SUCH a hedgehog.

And yes, isn't my screen minimalist? I tidy it up assiduously because it's the only place in my life I can exercise any real control!!! LOL...but true. Although, alas, I fear that sometimes I do the electronic equivalent of pushing things under the bed (ie, tucking things into random folders just to get them out of the way!)

Hello, BBC!

Snape - it's the voice!

Why am I here, because I call my daughter Leah for short and I have never seen it spelt like this before, I thought I'd made it up, LOL. So hi Leah.

Hi Cathy--yes, that Rickman voice--your comment prompted me to post at greater length about book versus movie Snape...

I thought "Leah" was the only way to spell Leah! Just kidding. When Star Wars came out, I wished my name was spelled "Leia." Alas.
