The Road to Town

I drove this insanely tall hill a few minutes ago to get to the library to post this picture of the insanely tall hill...it's completely self-referential. Xs and Os to anyone out there today...

Leah,

It's a lovely photo! I love the story of driving up that hill to get to the library to post a photo of the hill - bizarre, but great!

all this talk of the hill reminds me of the sydney cricket ground, the tickets for "the hill" were the cheapest and the hill became famous for the bad behaviour that went on there.
happy holidays leah

No hills like that on the daily commute - one of the reasons you love the Aderondecks :) K

LOL. Too funny.

Did you need a trip out of the house?

It looks a bit like a road less traveled....

Robyn, I'm so glad you're in the swap--it should be fun, and it's too bad we're not partners!

I'm in upstate NY, in a cabin on a lake that I share with my sister. It's really lovely, I must say.

xo!

Hey B--

That is correct. I drove down the hill to take a picture of the hill to post a picture of the hill.

HI Muralimanohar--I went to San Francisco once. My host drove us around in a twenty-year-old VW bus with a failing stick shift. Agreed: those hills were something else entirely...

Hello Peter! It's some story right? I can be quite a time waster.

Hello dear Kylie, no bad behavior on that particular hill, at least none that I'm in on...

Leah said...

Sarah, how did you guess I needed a little, er, excursion away from the house? You are so right, LOL.

Miss K!!! Yes, that hill is a delight. No snoozing bums or shouting drunks like the subways of NYC... : )

That was fun. It's been a long time since I got to do some commentsie-backsies. xo

Driving down the hill to take a picture of the hill to post a picture of the hill ... is going the long way around it for sure, but the image is great :-)

Best wishes and a penny more for the gasoline it took to drive all that way for the image,
skeeter
