"But Laura lay awake a little while, listening to Pa's fiddle softly playing and to the lonely sound of the wind in the Big Woods. She looked at Pa sitting on the bench by the hearth, the fire-light gleaming on his brown hair and beard and glistening on the honey-brown fiddle. She looked at Ma, gently rocking and knitting.
She thought to herself, "This is now."
She was glad that the cozy house, and Pa and Ma and the fire-light and the music, were now. They could not be forgotten, she thought, because now is now. It can never be a long time ago."

Hmmm...I will have to think about this one for a bit!
I have missed you and your blog! And thanks for the flowers too! Thanks for stopping by. It was a horrible time for me and still doing the whole recoup thing very slowly! Come visit soon!
Hugs,
Robyn
This is a wonderful idea. I will have to search for a nice quote. I hope you get to feeling better soon. I do not want to imagine what my household would look like if I were sick for two weeks. UGH! My thoughts are with you.
Welcome back sweet Leah,
I too, love the quote idea and will most definately tag myself! I love the Little House on the Prairie series, brings back the best memories of reading under the open windows on my bed as a child. I lived in a very small rural town so life was very boring except for the Huckleberry Finn adventures. Reading books was my window to the world outside my tiny town.
Spring is near,
Shara
I love that quote from Little House. This is now. It's all good.
Hope you are feeling better.
Hi Sweetie,
All my dear friends are here! I love that. Ya know? How can I add to it? I can't, but I will say that you and I belong together. I'm from the Catskills. My entire family remains. When I return and buy a home, you and your family are always welcome. I mean that with all my heart.
Much love,
Suze
Thanks for purchasing my book. I was just so excited when I saw it lying on the counter. I was giddy. Like a kid with a new toy. I hope you daughter likes it. I did the illustrations too, so I hope she enjoys the pictures.
