Blackbeard's Challenge, or, Naughty-Naughty Putt-Putt

We had a few hours to enrich before we left Orlando, so we took Hedgehog to Pirate Putt-Putt near the hotel.

This is what greeted us at the first, er, hole.

Sarge and I stood staring, balls and sticks firmly in hand, squinting to determine whether it was just a trick of light and shadow. Then we exchanged a glance. Blackbeard's Challenge was apparently of the concupiscent rather than mercenary variety.

wow... ummm... yeh.... that is some naughty putt putt. I would have had such the fit of giggles...

Fay, haaaaahaaaa!!! Omg we laughed our asses off!!! E was confused, so we had to keep it moving along.

Sarah, yes, there was a fit of giggles (on my part) and on Sarge's part, smothered mirth. Incredible, right? How could it not have been deliberate design?

What a lovely way to putt it- hours to enrich.
I'm afraid that grass doesn't look real to me.

PS There's a vas deferens between grass and faux grass.

Did Tiger Woods design that course?

Such a course!

Pat, you crack me up! Excellent pun. My dad always used to say that we were "enriching" time rather than killing it.

Bob, perhaps that is the explanation!

Snow, the rest of it was disappointingly tame...

What did Hedgehog have to say about this!?! Did it escape her?

P.S. Tell Sarge that being a Rush fan is a sure sign of higher intelligence. And I'm not kidding about that.

Sav, hilarious, right?

UB, it totally escaped Hedgehog. By the way, I passed that along to Sarge, and he concurs. And he's not kidding either.

Miss E, that's the beauty of cell phone cams!

Kylie, just our speed, right?

Ponita, glad you got the postcard!

Brian, I'm still laughing about it...

Sausage, maybe that's his challenge--that he has a coochie!!!

No fricking way. For reals? Mons veneris FTW. (I assume, since you are reading Maxim, you are up on the current vernacular.)

LOL.

LOL......living only an hour from Orlando I believe I've played that course! Florida especially around Orlando and The Mouse can be a very strange experience. :-)

Leah said...

Meg, FTW, love it. Totally Maxim.

Mykyuljay, I had never been to Florida--Orlando was trippy, yes, very strange. I think the most peculiar place was Celebration, that manufactured little town? A friend told me they had their first crime, and it was a murder!!!

Michael J. said...

Celebration was a long-held concept of Walt Disney and only came to fruition long after he had died.

It was to be a community of days gone by from where the porches were placed to the width of the streets. I've never been able to go there myself but only pass the signs. I want to keep the concept in my mind as a wonderful thing and not spoil it with the reality of what it didn't accomplish.

Leah said...

You know what's funny, despite their murder (and I don't think any society can be completely crime-free), and although peculiarly clean-looking and uniform, I actually found Celebration to be lovely. Very sweet.

There was me thinking it looked like a hot dog. I am so innocent.

I have to find out more about this place called Celebration.
I want to thank you for the mail that arrived last Saturday: Thank You!

I'm guessing Blackbeard wasn't much of a ladies man, if this was a challenge to him. Deliciously naughty!
