Our Friend Shecky



This is Shecky--a very handsome duck who has adopted us. He visits our dock every day, hops up and sits with us for several hours at a time. When Sarge brought his guitar down to the lake to serenade us, Shecky stood in front of him and stared, mesmerized.

I won't be around for a bit, am working on several projects. But I'll be back soon.

Hope everyone's enjoying the last bit of summer!

    Ha! That's a great name for a duck. He's a handsome fellow, isn't he.
    We had a homing pigeon drop in and stay for 2 weeks once. I called him "Presto". We miss him.

    I'm working on several projects too. There's the pottering around the house project, the avoid hard work at all costs project, the play that favourite CD yet again project. They're all coming along splendidly.
