It's become a real art mecca and so much fun. Cat'n Around Catskill takes place every year. I think it's around 60 or so fiberglass cat sculptures line Historic Main Street. They're created by local artists and they're just wonderful. Then on Memorial Day there's a HUGE dinner, wine tasting and auction and they're all sold. If you can't make Memorial Day, you and Heggie should think about just strolling Main Street on your way to the Adirondacks. I think you'd have a blast.

My mom strolls Main Street every year because she enjoys it so, then attends the events on Memorial Day as well. She can't afford the art, but is hopeful when I move home I'll take part and just give her my sculpture! Seriously!!! I told her, "Mom, I don't think that's how it works!"

Thanks for the Orange Show. Wonderful!! And the donkey and his friends can come live with me when I return to the Catskills!!!

Thanks for sharing your vacation with all of us. What fun.

XOSuzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13111045716713716292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5545649522016852351.post-42116656526259714772009-07-19T05:18:56.979-04:002009-07-19T05:18:56.979-04:00i'd need some convincing about boiled peanuts ...i'd need some convincing about boiled peanuts i think

none about the donkey though, what a face full of characterlettucehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13872380339261609060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5545649522016852351.post-30219287208654239022009-07-18T12:31:37.504-04:002009-07-18T12:31:37.504-04:00Boiled peanuts sound....um...
